Effect Of Viagra On Women

What is Viagra?

Viagra is a blue erectile dysfunction pill use to treat and to manage erection problem popularly known as impotence. The mechanism of action of this drug is such that, it inhibits that enzyme phosphodiesterase-5. This is why it is referred to is a phosphor-Diesterase inhibitor. Its action in this inhibition enhances the flow of blood to the penis and blood flow to the penis increases cellular by the cells of this region leading to the increase of energy production by these cells and optimum functionality. It causes the vasodilation of the blood vessels taking blood to the penis tissues and constriction of the blood vessels taking blood out of the tissue.

Recommended by the FDA in the treatment of erectile dysfunction, this drug can be taken orally, starting its action 30 minutes to 1 hour after being taken but its action is null and void if it is taken without sexual stimulation or arousal because its action will not be felt or will be ineffective. Its optimum action is usually 4 hours after it's has been taken even though the body of the person taking it matters. Its action in the treatment of this condition is attributed to the active ingredient it contains called sildenafil.

Viagra and Women

Does this drug work for women?

There have of late being statements there Viagra, a male sex erection drug also has in women as it is said to increase sexual pleasure and their enjoyment. This statement is indeed a hypothesis seeing it has never been scientifically proven and also to approach this even without much experiment but logically, the anatomical structure of a man and woman is so different and a woman does not need erection and this statement of mine is due to the fact that erection is the main purpose of taking Viagra and nothing else.

To throw more light on the subject matter that has gotten many into confusion, let's look at it from a perspective with the first being; the active ingredient of the drug that gives it its distinctive function from other drugs and this is Sildenafil. This active ingredient was concocted for the sole purpose of helping out in the problem of the small and flaccid penis and it does this by causing the dilation of the blood vessels that carry blood to the penile tissues and the constriction of the vessels taking blood out. Once it has enhanced much blood flow to the penis, cellular respiration will be much in this area leading to the production of much energy for the cells of this area, hence persistent and prolong erection. it has nothing to do with arousal or libido but much to do with a strong penis for easy and smooth vagina penetration.

The statement of it enhancing pleasure in women is also not proven except if such a woman derives sexual pleasure more when she is penetrated but research has shown that women gain more than half of their sexual pleasure outside penetration but foreplay and communication and most women have complained of the bias nature of the drug how that it has caused a serious loss in their communication and foreplay with their partners, but have made more penetration conscious leaving the whole fun of sex an annoying activity.

To also trash this let us look at the female sexual dysfunction if they have anything to do with erection; dyspareunia which is a condition of pain during sexual intercourse and this pain occurs majorly deep at the cervix or the genitalia. This condition can also lead to another sexual defect like a muscle spasm and then leading to either partial or total loss of libido or sexual drive. The above few point doesn't look like erection problem but way too different so anchoring on the statement that Viagra has a way of enhancing female sex problem is not just it.
